Instead of presenting formal, 30 -minute presentations to our class, you will be designing, uploading, and editing information to teach the rest of your class the contents of your assigned chapter from the book. Therefore, you and your partners will be responsible for your material!!

The rest of the class will be using the information on your page to learn and to complete the final assessment of the book.

Keep in mind that no one other than your group has read your chapter!!
You are responsible for most effectively teaching your classmates the most powerful information/ advice from the chapter to help your friends in the real world. This is a very powerful book!

Your Grade? (Group + Individual Score

your grade) 50% +50%= your score.= There is no alternative for the project. If you are unexcused absent for any day we spend on this, and then too choose not to work on this from home, you earn a poor grade. 50% of this project is the individual score. The other 50% is the dependent upon the: Content, Layout, Proof of knowledge, Language Skills, and the Style .

  1. DAY ONE:Research and read
Read your chapter thoroughly because you will have to:
    • Write a 5-sentence summary/ gist with appropriate details.
    • Outline chapter’s with key points (using bullets/ numbers et cetera..)
    • Post a quote per bullet from each section – which you felt best represented that key point.
    • Determine which images you may want to borrow from the chapter and which images you would need to search for.
  1. DAY TWO: Design/ Plan
Decide how you want to “layout” the page, although the page features are somewhat limiting. (sketch this out on a piece of paper)
Plan what material you will use for your: images, for your audiocast/ podcast, and your personal stories that relate to this habit/ chapter.

  1. DAY THREE- FIVE: Upload and add information
You will all be given access to your page and can, therefore, edit this page anywhere there is internet access if you are absent or decide to complete your work outside of class (no excuses) You will certainly have time to work on this in class. I CAN ALSO MONITOR WHO HAS WORKED ON THE PAGE AND WHAT WAS DONE AND WHEN= Individual score (-:

  1. DAY SIX: Present your page to class- don't stress. decide who would best be able to share your page with the class
Take a few minutes to share your page with us. Use it guide and organize your presentation. Any one or two people from your group can do this on the smartboard. It will help the class since they are learning from and taking a quiz from your page.

  1. DAY SEVEN: Note: YOU WILL be quizzed on the information from the other pages.

ABSENCES:
YOU CAN WORK ON THIS FROM HOME OR EVEN OFF OF YOUR PHONES. Wherever you have internet access.

If you are absent, you can follow the schedule I have given you in class. There will be no excuses accepted:

KEEP IN MIND: I CAN ALSO MONITOR WHO HAS WORKED ON THE PAGE AND WHAT WAS DONE AND WHEN= Individual score (-:
